Moyne Shire Council is developing the next Early Years Plan for 2011 to 2014 and would like to know what you think about the services provided within the shire for children in the 0 – 6 age group.

What early years service(s) would you like to improve?

An early years service you are currently accessing may be able to be improved or simply delivered at an alternative time, location or manner to better meet the needs of your child and family. Council is keen to understand how the change you propose will improve the health, safety and wellbeing of your child and or family.

The range of early years services provided within Moyne is quite extensive with a range of care, education, social and health services provided by both council and others. What services are valuable to you and your children in the 0-6 year old age group. This may range from child care, to the local primary school, to a sporting facility or a health service such as specialist services or maternal & child health nursing. Tell us what you value.

As the next Moyne Early Years Plan will cover the 4 years from 2011 to the end of 2014, what would you like to see occur in this period?
For example, as a parent of a child with a disability you may want council advocate for easier access to a particular service or for a new service. You may feel that your locality requires a new service or an improved building, a footpath or a new sporting activity.
Council is keen to understand the effect this would have on the health, safety and wellbeing of your child and family. Tell us what you think.
